The first picture below was taken when I (Jim Tourond) was 18 years old. Barry Grainger on the left was the original Guide Outfitter that started the business back in 1951. In the picture below, I was out helping Barry (my uncle) get a Bull Moose out of the bush for one of Barry’s clients. Little did I know I would be stepping into Uncle Barry’s shoes to carry on the Guiding Business of today.
The second picture below was taken at the Burns Lake Train Station in the early 1950’s. Barry Grainger and business partner Jack Neilson and brother-in-law Pete Tourond with their clients who just arrived on the train to go hunting.
